Sony Ericsson has put out a press release saying it will launch the Xperia X1 on September 30th 2008! That’s right 2008! With the recent problems they’ve been having with some rumours floating around it will be delayed until 2009, it seems Sony Ericsson has taken the steps to calm the storm.

Initially it will be available to consumers in the UK, Germany and Sweden and then in other markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America throughout Q4 2008.
